Call for Papers 2027
Ulumuna, an international journal of Islamic studies indexed by Scopus, invites scholars and researchers to submit original manuscripts for its forthcoming issues:
Vol. 31, No. 1, June 2027 — Qur’an and Hadith in the Global Era
Vol. 31, No. 2, December 2027 — Islamic Philosophy, Education, and Knowledge Management
The journal welcomes original research articles based on conceptual, theoretical, historical, or empirical studies of Islam and/or Muslim societies. Manuscripts employing interdisciplinary or cross-disciplinary approaches are particularly encouraged. Submissions should be written in clear and intelligible academic English and should be approximately 6,000–8,000 words in length.
All submissions must strictly follow the Ulumuna manuscript template and author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not conform to the journal’s prescribed format, structure, referencing style, and template may be returned to the authors prior to peer review. Information on the journal’s writing and referencing style, manuscript template, article processing charges, and submission guidelines is available through the Submission Guidelines or on the Ulumuna website. All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer-review process.
Submission deadlines:
Vol. 31, No. 1 (June 2027): 20 February 2027
Vol. 31, No. 2 (December 2027): 20 August 2027
Given the high volume of submissions and the journal’s commitment to maintaining rigorous quality assurance throughout the review and revision process, early submission is strongly encouraged.
